Been using cosmic for more than a day now. Really enjoying it. My monitors don’t freeze randomly anymore (at least so far, hopefully never). The only thing I miss is the hot corners. Actually, I really miss it, since I used it to switch between workspaces. Guess it’s time to get used to the keyboard shortcut like a real man would.

Spent over a month making my third pico 8 game. This time it’s not a shmup anymore, but more of a tower defense game where you have to defend your tomato farm from chickens. You can place obstacles to block certain paths and throw tomatoes to deter them. Give it a try!

Made my first ever game after following (half of) a tutorial (link below). The series is still ongoing, but I couldn’t wait and just yolo the rest of it. The code is super messy, but it works. Feels so fulfilling to actually make something like this.

Making games really makes me appreciate math even more. All that trigonometry, geometry, and linear algebra from high school finally has some uses.

Now that I know the basics, I am making another game. This time from scratch instead of following a tutorial. Wish me luck!
